Vikas K. Parmar, MD

Dr. Parmar completed a 7 year accelerated, combined physician-scientist degree program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College, graduating with a distinction in research. Following this, he completed a neurosurgical residency and spine fellowship at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Parmar specializes in spine surgery. His clinical interests include degenerative spine pathologies, minimally invasive spinal surgery, and complex revision spinal surgeries, spine tumors, spinal vascular malformations, cranial tumors and microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia. 

Dr. Parmar is a New York native who enjoys travel, working out, sports, reading, and spending time with his family.
