Dr. Jean-Pierre Mobasser, a neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery, was elected by his peers to serve as president of Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine. He is the fourth president of the practice.
The president of Goodman Campbell also serves as the Vice Chair of the IU Department of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Mobasser also will be responsible for physician recruiting and providing a vision for Goodman Campbellās future.

Dr. Mobasser provides neurosurgical services at St. Vincent Hospital, Methodist Hospital, and
Indiana Spine Hospital.
In addition to being a practicing physician for more than 14 years, Dr. Mobasser is an assistant professor of clinical neurological surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency in neurosurgery and fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at the University of Tennessee. He specializes in image-guided spinal navigation and minimally invasive spine surgery, and has lectured all over the world on these subjects. His clinical interests include back and neck pain, spine trauma, spinal tumor surgery, degenerative spinal conditions and artificial disc surgery.
He has also served as an unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant to the NFL for the past three years, and is currently the team neurosurgeon for the Indiana Pacers.
