Beautiful weather, an incredible community and a shared mission made the 11th annual Brain Bolt 5K a day to remember!
Held in downtown Carmel, the annual event brought together more than 555 participants, patients, families, physicians, volunteers and community supporters to celebrate survivors, raise awareness and support those affected by traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries.
Together, participants and supporters have raised more than $125,000 and counting for the Neurosurgery Foundation at Goodman Campbell!
Making a Difference Beyond Race Day
Brain Bolt is about more than crossing a finish line. The event features a traditional 5K alongside an inclusive one-mile survivor course, celebrating the strength and resilience of individuals navigating recovery from brain and spinal cord injuries.
Funds raised support the Neurosurgery Foundation at Goodman Campbell and its commitment to advancing patient care, research, medical education and new approaches to neurological treatment. These efforts help drive progress in neurosurgery and support better outcomes for patients and families.
This year’s success would not have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors, more than 80 volunteers, dedicated physicians and care teams, and every participant who showed up to support the cause. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this event so meaningful.
The Impact Continues
Although race day has passed, there is still time to make a difference! Peer-to-peer fundraising continues through October 31, with exciting prizes available for participants who keep raising funds for this important mission.
