Employee Feedback Earns Goodman Campbell an “IndyStar Top Workplace” Designation for 2021

The employees of Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine are proud to be a part of an organization with a collaborative culture and meaningful mission- and it shows. This year, like several past years, Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine was recognized as an IndyStar Top Workplace. The award is based on employee feedback on the organization’s culture, mission, goals and values. Employee responses ranked Goodman Campbell 5th overall among mid-sized employers. The high ranking, like last year, means even more due to challenges throughout the healthcare industry during the pandemic.

The leadership of Goodman Campbell was able to preserve employee positions and continue to provide high-quality service to our patient population. “Goodman Campbell is in a unique position to offer healthcare employment opportunities that provide a culture of caring for others, continuing clinical and non-clinical education and distinct career advancement.  We have found that our five-star patient satisfaction results in high employee satisfaction as well,” said Executive Director Derek Cantrell.

Goodman Campbell President Dr. Jean-Pierre Mobasser states, “Goodman Campbell has worked very hard to create a work environment that employees value, and want to be a part of. Having our employees recognize that we have achieved this goal is extremely rewarding. A lot of time, effort and thought has gone into our decision making process, and creating a culture where employees feel heard and valued is always at the center of these decisions.”

Employee comments included being part of an organization which is inclusive, supportive and progressive. Other responses highlighted the availability of continued education and opportunities for growth, and maintaining quality patient-focused care.

“We believe culture should authentically be felt, through actions that convey collaboration, respect and a shared vision of excellence,” shared Chief of Operations, Audra Frezza. “Our employees are at the heart of all we do as an organization and they drive the level of service we provide to our patients. I believe employees enjoy working here because their work represents something that is larger than themselves and is immensely impactful. We are grateful for our employees, who create an environment that earned us a place on the Top Workplaces of 2021!”

The organization celebrated the effort of all employees by announcing the award with music, food, games, and more! To learn more visit https://topworkplaces.com/award/indystar/2021/150-399/?page=1.
