Goodman Campbell Welcomes CCOO Ashley Parmer!

Goodman Campbell welcomes Chief Clinical Operations Officer (CCOO), Ashley Parmer. She will provide support to the research, quality and allied health teams as they execute and achieve strategic goals.

Ashley joined the Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine acute neurosurgical services team in 2016. Here she worked nights alongside neurosurgeons, advanced practice providers, residents and fellows who “helped me learn and grow in that position,” according to Ashley. Her background as a nurse practitioner and director of quality will help her understand how best to support fellow clinicians, the GCBS quality department, and others in developing process improvement initiatives that directly impact quality outcomes for our patients.

Ashley appreciates the work culture and comradery here at Goodman Campbell as well our patient-focused mission. When asked about this role Ashley shared it will facilitate continued growth, expansion, and support of hospital affiliates and care services. “I have always felt called to serve others. This calling has steered me into leadership roles throughout my career. I am a lifelong learner and that internal drive for knowledge and growth has opened career paths for me that I hadn’t envisioned. As a nurse practitioner, I have always been passionate about helping other advanced practice providers grow in their clinical and professional practice. I am now fortunate to be in a position where I can impact several types of clinicians here at GCBS.”

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and dog. She loves to travel and check out new restaurants, as well as reading, doing outdoor activities, and playing gourmet chef in the kitchen.
