Angie Worzala has joined Goodman Campbell as our Director of People Operations. Angie comes to GCBS with 24 years of experience. She is a graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications/Psychology and a native Hoosier from Frankfort, IN. She spent the first part of her career in a succession of roles on the human resources team at Ernst & Young in Chicago. She joined a small technological company and supported their private licensing group for 2 years before moving back to central Indiana, and continued her human resources career with a local commercial real estate developer. In 2008, Angie joined IU School of Medicineâs Department of Neurology, and supported various departments within the neuroscience service lines.
Angie shares, “What led me into human resources, and, more importantly, kept me here for over two decades, is the interaction with people. Iâve always been someone who seeks understanding of other peopleâs backgrounds, strengths, and passions. A career in human resources was one that developed organically for me.”
She and her husband, Jeff, have a 14 year-old daughter and a 12 year-old son. They enjoy attending their sporting, church, and school events, traveling, and spoiling their COVID dog, Bailey. Angie also enjoys spending time with her close friends, whether it be by the pool, at a show, taking a long walk, or on a ‘girlsâ trip. She enjoys reading and considers all things âpop cultureâ (other than reality TV) her guilty pleasure.
As our Director of People Operations, Angie is our guiding human resource professional in a traditional sense. In todayâs evolving employment market, we have organized our structure so that Angie can place more focus on the recruitment and retention process, employment lifecycle, employee development, continuous engagement and connecting employeesâ performance with Goodman Campbellâs goals.
Angie’s goals and values align with Goodman Campbell’s culture. Angie states, “GCBS has a strong reputation in the local market. I have had the opportunity to work with several GCBS providers and staff in the past, and have felt their strong loyalty and commitment to patients. I am excited for the opportunity to join this great company.”
Welcome to the team Angie!
