GCBS Earns Top Workplace in 2016

August 1, 2016—Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine was recently honored as one of Indiana’s Top Workplaces for the second consecutive year. With its 234 employees, Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine was recognized as a “Top Midsize Company” among a list of 90 regional employers.

WorkplaceDynamics, a Philadelphia-based leader in organizational health research, conducted the Top Workplaces 2016 survey in partnership with the Indianapolis Star. Top Workplaces identifies employers that excel at organizational health and workplace engagement. Companies are recognized solely on surveys about the workplace completed by their employees.

On the survey conducted last October, Goodman Campbell employees gave the company high marks on questions including whether they “feel genuinely appreciated” and that “my jobs makes me feel like I am part of something meaningful.” Employees also felt well-informed about important decisions and believed they are allowed to work at their full potential.

“Our second Top Workplace award acknowledges what Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine means to our employees, and we are in turn grateful for their hard work and dedication,” says Derek Cantrell, Executive Director of Finance and Administration. “It is a true honor to have been selected for this award, and we plan to continue our efforts to remain one of the best employers in the state.”

WorkplaceDynamics affirms that Top Workplaces are not only better places to work but are more likely to be successful than peer organizations. The research firm surveyed employees from 145 companies in Central Indiana and the complete list of Top Workplaces appeared in The Indianapolis Star on April 15.
