We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated, quality conscious Medical Administrative Assistant based at our Carmel office. The Medical Administrative Assistant supports the administrative function of our busy Anesthesiologist and Physician Assistant within a supportive team structure.

- Cover and triage patient, physician, and facility calls during business hours
- Procedure scheduling
- Schedule new patients and same day procedures
- Assist in obtaining same day add-on pre-certifications
- Complete test order forms per provider request
- Process provider mail
- Maintain provider calendar
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Strong Medical Knowledge
- Good Customer Service Skills & presentation
- Good computer, communication & language skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Ability to effectively interact with physicians, providers and patients in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently to complete tasks and meet deadlines
- Flexible and able to multi-task
- Excellent work habits with close attention to detail
Education and Experience Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years of experience in medical office or equivalent
- Office work environment
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Long periods of concentrated focused work
