3DCTA: A CT scan that outlines the blood vessels in a three-dimensional way.

Balloon remodeling: Placement of a balloon inside a blood vessel over the base of an aneurysm to facilitate coiling of an aneurysm.

Coil Obliteration: Placement of coils in an aneurysm from within the parent blood vessel.

CT Scan: An x-ray test that outlines the various structures of the brain or other parts of the body.

Intra-op DSA: Performance of an arteriogram during surgery for blood vessel abnormalities of the brain.

Lumbar Puncture: Placement of a needle into the spinal canal to obtain spinal fluid.

MRI Scan: A diagnostic test using a magnetic field to outline various structures of the brain or other parts of the body.

Neurotrac Monitoring: Placement of needle electrodes in the scalp to monitor brain waves during surgery.

Stenting and Coiling: Placement of wire mesh inside a blood vessel to facilitate placement of coils in an aneurysm.

Suction Decompression: Occlusion of blood vessel below and above an aneurysm and suctioning of blood from the vessel to facilitate treatment of the aneurysm.
